The full skirt is accented with a large circular pocket at the right side that has a teardrop opening in the center. The dress bodice, pocket, and bolero are all accented with appliqued pink flowers. Lovely vintage 1940’s day dress in a hard-to-find larger size is fashioned from sheer silk chiffon in a navy and white polka-dot print. You’ll need to wear a slip with this one! The notched neckline is accented with cream faille inserts that have been machine sewn in place, but are easily removeable if desired. The short sleeves have fold-back cuffs. Tucks sewn at the front waist fall open into unpressed pleats below the hips. The dress closes with rhinestone buttons at the front from neckline to hips and is unlined. There are slim cotton-filled shoulder pads.

You’ll probably want to wear a slip with this dress. Vertical tucks are sewn into the fabric on either side of the button front.
