These brilliantly colored, sparkling glass bangle-covered boxes and frames are inspired by the work of celebrated Indian folk-sculptor, Nek Chand. The raw material for these pieces are the colored glass bangle bracelets worn by millions of Indian women. As Nek Chand did in his famous Rock Garden in Chandigarh, India, these artisans covered boxes and frames with a mosaic of broken glass bangles - a recycling project with stunning results!
