This is a wide choker style collar, or lace necklace, made out of vintage Victorian era to mid 1930's vintage lace. The choker / necklace is 2 inches wide, very soft, and GORGEOUS ~ fault-less turn of the century ecru lace. This lace necklace / collar fastens with two handsewn antique silver box clasps in the back, and is adorned with 5 stunning Swarovski AB crystal chandelier tear drop crystals attached to the lace with sterling silver loops. Lace necklace measures 15 1/4" inches around the necklace. Meant for a slim to mid weight neck, preferably for best effect with hair in an upswept fashion. Will then fit very very comfortably. We can alter this "slightly" to make it a bit larger. If you need this altered please contact us and we'll instruct you how to measure for an exacting yet comfortable fit. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, however, so we cannot make duplicates using this exact lace.

These zipper collars seem to have become my signature trashion thing. Here is my latest. I made it for my dear friend who took this lovely picture of it. This collar has been reconstructed from 12 metal jacket zippers. It took 3 hours to pin these onto the mannequin and 7 to sew them together by hand. I´m not a very fast seamstress...
