The traditional Chulucanas style, passed down through generations, uses natural glazes and kiln-firing with leaves from the mango tree to produce the deep rusty brown-black shade, which contrasts beautifully with rich, natural cream. Each is a striking piece of global culture.
Each piece of pottery is unique, and will measure approximately 10.25" dia and 6" T (26 x 15.2 cm). Because Chulucanas pots are fired at a low heat, they do not hold water. Dyes are all-natural; each piece is handmade and signed by the artisan, and fair-trade imported from Chulucanas, Peru.
