This is a dressy casual kind of piece with a very unique butterfly knot that sets off the round medallion beautifully. The genuine leather cord is warm and comfortable against the skin. These medallion necklaces are suitable for both men or women. Made of stainless steel, they have an elegant, brushed finish with permanent black etched writing. The words Serenity Acceptance Courage Wisdom, the main components of the Serenity Prayer are etched onto the metal. Completely hand-etched and hand-knotted in my workshop, using a vintage 19th century technique that I rediscovered. Medallions are available in stainless steel and permanently etched black artwork. Measurements: 1" diameter mounted genuine black leather cord in either women's length or men's length.
