Hers was characterized by light 'summery' fabrics of vibrant colours in assortment of eye-pleasing patterns. Loose cuts that suit just about any body type, were augmented by keen attention to detail which one does not often find in resort collections.

Whether in shorts, wide-legged capris, long (regal) skirts, pants, turtlenecks, halters or open-back dresses each piece was as dazzling as the last. Casually classy, yet comfortable and versatile enough for any occasion is exactly the picture that this collection painted. The only thing missing from this presentation was fireworks as this was a truly explosive collection; it had everyone talking for a minute. B. Michaels elegant pieces are obviously designed to transform ordinary beings into royalty as all items shown had an imperial effect. The first piece (worn by LOreal model Sandy) was a Cinderella inspired evening gown with a quilt-like pattern in champagne; white and gold (complete with a train of course for full princess effect). This was followed by a peach and white pinstriped suit worn by Tafari Hinds and a Grecian silk toga/dress (also with a train) elegantly draped over Jotasha Turnbulls svelte frame.

Comfort and class were merged perfectly in Marvalyn Nelson's Lamaica line of clothing - and that is quite a feat! There was the flirty cocktail dress, the ultra-mini, the white hot jumpsuit complete with matching cap, the lovely floor-length dress in blends of green and the scorching hot halter dress worn by GQ covergirl Nell Robinson and boy did she wear it well ! After a few more equally stunning pieces Minka stepped out unto the runway beaming with satisfaction to thunderous applause in the cutest little afro-inspired vanilla dress (one of her own designs of course).
