The Let's Pretend Trick or Treat bag. When I think one of my favorite ways as a child to play pretend, it was always dressing up for Halloween. Layered ribbon trim: rich Black saddlestitch on top of Pumpkin Orange grosgrain. Ribbon trim is securely sewn around the entire bag. A matching hand-tied bow adds the finishing touch. Thursday afternoon while blog hopping I found the cutest little halloween bag: The Felted Candy Corn Bag. It was love at first sight. I ran downstairs and to my luck I had exactly the colors needed for the pattern. Then, I sat down and was ready to begin knitting when I read the instructions a little closer...it was crochet :(. My heart fell as my crocheting abilities are almost nonexistent

For the serious Halloween reveler, the trick-or-treat bag isn't merely a vessel for the evening's spoils; it must also be a spooky accessory to his or her costume. To create a bag equal to the task, all you'll need is an old pillowcase, a bit of rope, and some iron-on patches. Choose from our assortment of ghostly faces, or you can create your own gruesome expression.
