Brooks Brothers Black Fleece

In late March 2007, Brooks Brothers launced its Black Fleece Collection - a creative concept developed to introduce a new dimension of innovation and style into the iconic 189 year-old American brand. For the fall/winter '07 collection, Thom Browne introduced classically familiar styles such as tailored suit jackets, trousers and pleated skirts that were cleverly reinterpreted in traditional suiting fabrics like tweed, herringbone and cashmere. Jackets, trousers and outerwear all have a distinctly slimmer silhouette, and details like handstitching, grosgrain tipping, fur-trim, embroidery, and covered buttons - some of Browne's favorite ideas - are prominent throughout the collection, yet still reflect the classic spirit of Brooks Brothers.
