The collection’s 100% Zac, made for a woman who likes to dress up, but might not have a red carpet to walk every other week. It’s mostly dresses, highlights include a sleeveless floral mini with a massive side bow ($74), a well-cut purple polka-dot number with thick seams ($39), and the long printed gown at left ($69). Swimsuits come in gold lame ($40) and tie dye (so do tees), skirts are basic black in flouncy cuts ($40) and Zac’s even included a slim black suit ($90). A children's film about Mardie (Madicken), a character familiar from Astrid Lindgrens novels, with its idyllic 1920s setting inspired Samu-Jussi Koskis new collection. He also drew inspiration from Mia Farrows film roles of the 1960s. The overall look of the collection is classically simple and feminine, and perhaps even a little flirty. The collections main colours are black, white and grey. Two print patterns add colour; Maija and Kristina Isolas Pikku-Maria design, and Maija Louekaris modern Pisaroi. Samu-Jussi Koski has also designed stunning knitted garments in neon pink from a completely new material, namely a soy and angora mix.
