Saint Hill Couture One of the very few designers in Britain with an apprenticeship in couture, for 22 years he has dedicated himself to its arts. Spending countless hours on his mothers sewing machine inspired by the skills of his seamstress aunt, the young British Cuban would whip up his own lavish creations. At 16 he began knocking the doors of Londons Master Couturiers of the time, persisting until he was permitted to cross the thresholds of high fashion. As an apprentice to the late Hachi, he sketched a gown that caught the eye of Diana, Princess of Wales. This design was the first of the headline-hitting dresses for which she became famed. In 2001, he co-founded Saint-Hill Couture with Britta Von Basedow. Saint-Hills love of couture is fuelled first and foremost by his love of women.
