Made from one sheet of fabric, the lampshade uses no wires or support except itself. Easy to self assemble the shade comes flatpacked with assembly instructions. "The inspiration came from Japanese Origami flowers, and we tried to translated the same elegant language into fabric. As in Origami, the way the object is made is clearly visible and transparent, no glue is used, and the strings that tie it all together are essential to both the construction and the simple beauty of it, just as the folds of the paper are in Origami." Blue Tree Gallery paper lamps are created with wire and a variety of natural fiber papers. The affect of soft light, filtering through the natural fibers of the paper, creates a richly textured, colorful luminescence. Lamp shades are flame-resistant and UV-protected. Because our lights are handcrafted, each one we create has its own personality. Sizes may vary slightly from those you see on this page. Looking for a specific size, design or color? We gladly accommodate most requests.
