The Circle Stool is made from solid cherry and chrome-painted steel. Designers Chris Boissevain and Eric Ziemelis created a slightly curved modern rendtion of the traditional stool, with bangle-like circles from top to bottom. The Boissevain Ziemelis signature logo can be found signed on the bottom of seat. Seat and base are sold separately.

This custom-made Nautilus End Table features a hand-carved green Vermont slate top by sculptor Kerry O. Furlani, and carved Vermont sugar maple legs by renowned furniture designer and craftsman David Hurwitz. The top sits on a steel plate attached to the tops of the legs, the slate is finished with hand-rubbed linseed oil, and the wood is finished with hand-rubbed poly-varnish. Custom orders are also available, with a wide selection of woods and colors of slate.

Hans Sandgren Jakobsens award-winning Gallery was originally designed in 1998 for the Copenhagen Art Association and was meant to be a stool guests could sit on while they enjoyed the paintings on show. Gallery, which is now in great demand, is beautiful in its sculptural simplicity. Hidden behind the minimalist design, however, lies an innovative technique that has made it possible to shape veneer in several dimensions. Gallery is available in beech, cherry, maple, walnut and black stained ash. Several stools can be joined together to create a bench, which allows people to approach from both sides. Stine Gam-Pedersen, 30, and Enrico Fratesi, 27, have certainly made use of their different nationalities in the three stylish Luisa stools. Enrico Fratesi would hardly have found it strange if his grandmother wrapped her furniture in a plastic cover. Most elderly ladies in Italy do that to prevent it from getting dirty and worn. Stine Gam-Pedersen, however, who is Danish through and through, found these covers strange when she visited Pesaro. And that was the start of the idea for the couple's stools in two layers of transparent hard acrylic which traps a layer of otherwise soft felt.

Useable sculpture When I was first asked if we made garden furniture, I did pause for thought. Had the enquiry not come from an established client who knew me and knew how we worked I might have said, no, not usually. But this was different, this was a commission for a piece of useful sculpture. My client wanted an eyeful of furniture that would sit at the end of an avenue of recently planted cherry trees in a half circle of grass. The site would be visible from the main reception room of the house and from above from the master bedroom. The view was down that avenue of cherry trees to a well prepared focal point for their garden. So I toddled off and did the drawings.
