Apiece Apart is a 15 piece collection of simple, staple garments that can be worn interchangeably, everyday.
A modular uniform for the modern woman, the collection is composed of fluid, unfussy pieces that hang, wrap and drape. Worn separately, the clothes stand strong. When combined, the pieces come to life. The collection is composed of sumptuous fabrics (sandwashed silk, washed silk linen, and linen) and consists of a grid of neutral tones: cream, grey, khaki and black, with a punch of salmon.
Designed by Starr McCaleb and Laura Cramer, Apiece Apart was conceived during a road trip through West Texas. Inspired by the austere and beautiful landscape, McCaleb and Cramer conceived of a simplified life - complete with a downscaled and precise wardrobe of a few perfect pieces that would last a lifetime. The collection is designed to reward the wearer with simplified luxury each piece is timely, timeless and fashioned to be a better basic.
