Chanel has selected Pride & Prejudice star Keira Knightley as the new face of its Coco Mademoiselle fragrance. The 21-year-old actress will appear in Chanel ads beginning in 2007, the company announced Wednesday. Knightley succeeds Kate Moss, whose contract expired last October. The 32-year-old British supermodel had starred in the Coco Mademoiselle ads since 2002. Moss lost several high-profile modeling contracts last year after a tabloid published pictures of her allegedly using cocaine in a west London music studio. Oh well! At least Kate Moss still dresses well! Here she is out and about earlier this week, keeping her wardrobe to all whites, blacks and greys... and rocking it!

The actress poses for another ad in the Declare Yourself campaign, this time sporting a Hannibal Lecter-type mask called The Muzzler in her provocative appeal to young voters. Explaining her passion for the campaign, Alba said, "If you don't register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself."

Jessica Alba's 'Shocking' Ad for Declare Yourself Jessica Alba, who appears in a in new bondage-inspired campaign for the voter group Declare Yourself, isn't afraid to employ a little shock value for a cause she believes in. "I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically," says Alba. "People respond to things that are shocking." The dramatic image "really resonates" with the issue of voting, according to the 27-year-old star. "If you don't register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself." Of taking the photos, shot by photographer Marc Liddel, Alba says, "It didn't freak me out at all. What I like about Marc's work is that he tells a story and brings real emotion to his pictures."
