This late 1960's wide brown suede belt is just the thing to cinch over all your floaty boho dresses. The oval metal buckle has studs for a haute hippie meets tough chick look, and the many holes all the way around the belt mean that the size is adjustable. The suede on the side of the belt that slides into the buckle has a fuzzier texture than the other side and back, from normal use. The belt is in very good condition, with no other issues. Size: will fit 30" waist or smaller Width: 3"

A nice mix of mod "geometric" and Indian-inspired "Bollywood", this 1960's pendant necklace and drop earrings set by Trifari has a great look! The rectangular sections of the pendant and the earrings are made up of heavy, high quality, gold metal swirls and loops. Wonderful dark red, green and blue glass teardrop beads decorate both. The clip backs of the earrings are marked "Trifari", and the pendant has a thick gold chain with the Trifari "T" charm hanging from it. Both pieces are in excellent condition. Size: The necklace has a 13" chain, with a 5" long (almost 3" wide!) pendant, and the earrings have 2.5" drops.

Covered with enough gold metal coins to delight any "bohemian" gypsy-girl, this 1960's necklace will also make a lovely sound when you move! The lightweight coins depict Napoleon (as a Roman emperor) and an unnamed ancient Greek or Roman. The necklace is made up of two separate strands of square links with the coins dangling from them. In the center front, a few extra coins create a drop, which will look especially cool with a v-neck or strapless top. The necklace closes in back with a hook. Size: 15" long, with coins each measuring .75" round.

Almost everything from this collection is thoroughly fabulous. If you ask me--& not just on alternating days--i would say almost all of Anna Sui's work has been fabulous. She does a whole lotta rock referencing, 60s, 70s, from when bohemians walked the earth [not only me]. This one also evokes the YSL collections of those WonderYears--not perhaps the safari stuff, but certainly the Russian & Le Smoking [to name two]. Good job, Anna Sui, as ever. [Special Request: Bring out some more nail polish w/ Big Glitter, thanx.]

Almost entirely fabulous collection--my only serious negative vote is for the Giant Morbid Wedding Cupcake [if you look @the whole thing you will immediately spot the GMWC, trust me on that]. Elsewise it's marvellous, does a lot of self-referencing of her past collections--w/ a primary emphasis on 80s but w/ some nods to her 70s Alley Cat & 60s Paraphernalia stuff. Always a great designer, one of the world's best cutters & fitters, Betsey Johnson.

Than expected, than almost anyone else, than certainly any other mainstream designer. I should know this off the top of my head, but AK is so mainstream that I cannot remember who was designing therein at this/that precise point. Donna Karan? Someone. Regardless, what makes this is the skirt beneath it. Seen a lot of these & i must have had a lot of these [or their edgier equivalents] but this is one of the finer examples. Auction House's hope, unrealized, was for between $600-800. Surprises me that this reasonable goal remained unmet.
