This beautiful yet durable material is a solid color all the way through, so small nicks or scratches can be easily removed. This material is "Green" in nature and possesses a beautiful black slate-like appearance. It is made from environmentally sustainable resources and is a unique, durable, long-lasting material that wonderfully compliments the combination of Ipe and Electro-polished Stainless Steel. It is even rated as food safe by the National Sanitation Foundation.
