Carlson & Turner buys and sells antiquarian and scholarly books, rare manuscripts, maps, and prints. We are located in beautiful Portland, Maine, on Congress Street (the main drag in Portland). An easy landmark to help you find our shop is the Eastern Cemetery, the final resting place of many interesting Revolutionary and Civil War heros. Our shop is in a three story victorian building constructed in 1888 (see graphic above), directly across the street from the cemetery. There is ample street parking. The shop houses more than 50,000 antiquarian, scholarly, and used books, including a large inventory of general used books, and a large selection of paperback books in various categories. Some of the categories include: Scholarly books in various fields, Nautical, Travel, Civil War, History, Railroad, Maine related
