Description

Designfenzider’s hybrid objects combine material wit with aesthetic play; they sit on the fat, delicious line between the abstract and the functional. The collection includes domestic objects that range from a minimal “fruit bowl” comprised of a sleek supporting plate paired with an architectural fence, to a “half-function” porcelain top that creates a vase when placed on any container, and a chandelier of desk-lamps. The objects, which vary from one-off to limited editions and production pieces, have no “expiration date”. They reside in both public and private collections worldwide.
