Vintage Wool Coat 1960s Green Boucle Princess by mysweetiepiepie
Vintage 1960s green wool double breasted princess seamed coat. Semi tent shaped, coat flares out a bit from shoulders. Large curved Peter Pan style collar with pointed lapels. Top-stitched princess seams curve down to form the bottoms of the faux patch pockets. Flaps are decorative only, pockets are actually built into the side seams. Round, textured dimensional buttons have raised gold rims around the circumference. Six buttons with horizontal welt buttonholes form the double breasted front closure. Smaller matching buttons accent the top-stitched pocket flaps. Darts at elbows and upper back add shaping, better fit. Full-length sleeves have seam down outside length. Sort of a loosely woven semi-boucle with a subtle vertical texture. Too large for my dress form, so much cuter than in my pics! No fabric content given, looks to be a wool or wool blend, lighter weight, dry clean only. Marked a size 18, modern Large to Extra Large.
