Hate It Or Love It: Leighton Meester's "Date Night" Fringe Dress

    by Alex Gambardella

Ever since Gossip Girl Leighton Meester was spotted strutting down the red carpet at Tuesday night's "Date Night" premiere, the fashion press has been in quite a tizzy over her dress. The belted mini-frock, from Giambattista Valli's Spring/Summer 2010 collection, featured a teal and black Aztec-inspired print in the front with edgy tiers of fringe in the back. Some called it a totally chic treat every time she turned around (so unexpected!), while others referred to it as an awful Jekyll-and-Hyde type of a sheath! What say you? Is this dress a refreshing break from her usual Blair Waldorf TV style, or is it just a one-way ticket on the Hot Mess Express? Vote below! Photo Credit: PacificCoastNews.com via Zimbio
