They were keen to be part of the reconstruction of the South African identity post-1994 and the preservation of African heritage while promoting a sense of meaning. Their chosen vehicle for achieving these objectives was fashion and they describe working together as a huge asset to the company as it is a case of profound femininity combined with male sobriety.
