Description
After working in construction, Ross Malcolm's interest in contemporary jewellery led him to study at the Manukau Institute of Technology where he graduated top of his class in 2005. Malcolm now works at Manukau part-time as the Jewellery Technician.
Malcolm's continual experimentation with form and media makes his jewellery impossible to categorise. Early work focussed upon laminated confetti, while more recently he has been utilising 'found' materials, particularly plastic.
