Retro Art Glass: Bohemian blown glass double gourd perfume bottle

Description

Art Deco period double bubble smoked glass decanter with preserved gold. This is a stunning piece of art glass.  For the truly fabulous vanity. Probably created in the 1920's/1930s.  Czech/Bohemian origin. Designed to hold two potions. Stands 12.25' tall. This could be used as a liquor decanter also. Smoke black hand blown glass with real gold trim.  The trim is in well-preserved condition. 99% present. Few small rubs on the stopper, all other trim is 100%. The reflections you see in the images are not gold loss (except the center spot on the top stopper), just camera reflections. In great condition.  There are no chips or cracks, glass is clean.  The only iregularity with this perfume bottle is the previous owner cared enough to have the stopper repaired. The top stopper took a clean break at mid insertion point.  It has been repaired and is nearly impossible to detect. There is another stopper on the medium ball that inserts into the large ball.  Both stoppers are ground to fit.  Awesome find. retroartglass.com
