Description

Pioneer is a shoe that converts the kinetic energy of walking into electrical energy, which powers a headlight at the front of the shoe. Pioneer is based on the idea that the mechanical movement (and energy) of walking can be converted to electric power within the shoe. The electric power is stored in a battery in the sole of the shoe, and once charged, it can be successfully used to power a headlight for twelve hours. That is to say, it can last for a whole night, and it can be re-charged during the walk.
