NapaStyle | Murano Glass Bells
Description
The island of Murano, just off the coast of Venice, was originally devoted to glassblowing in the 13th century. When I visited this past spring, I saw for myself how little the traditions have changed. The glass is still made from the sand on the islands and the artists still blow each glass piece individually to create ravishing works of art like these bells. With multicolored swirls, these delicate handblown, hand-colored glass ornaments make a glittering holiday statement. To avoid breakage, these bells have no clappers.
Each original bell is approx. 4" h.
