MoMA Store - Jewelry Studio Kits
Description
These jewelry kits are based upon an original piece featured in a 1941 traveling exhibition of common object jewelry. During World War II, when materials were in short supply, Albers invented ways to create playful, elegant jewelry using simple components usually found in hardware shops and stationary stores. Each kit comes with all of the pieces necessary to create the necklace shown.
