Droog Design, Netherlands. Do Hit is top of the line Dutch Avant-Garde, consider Do Hit an art object with a sense of humor. A chair with a simple concept 'Hit your chair in the wished form' or have it done by the designer at an additional cost. Do Hit is a cube of metal that comes with its own sledgehammer to transform it into a chair Do Hit was created in December 1999 for an assignment at the Dutch Design Academy. The shaping of the first do hit was filmed by Sophie Krier and was presented in December 1999 and picked up by Droog a few months later. It was named Do Hit. Do Hit is featured in museums around the world and is part of the collection of amongst others the Victoria&Albert Museum in London. Size: ca. 39" width x 29.5" depth x 27.5" height
