In Greek Mythology a beautiful nymph named Syringa (lilacs botanical name) was fancied by Pan, the god of the forests and fields. He chased Syringa through the forest. To escape him, Syringa turned herself into an aromatic bush the flower we now refer to as lilac. Such a beautiful story for a beautiful flower. This necklace was made with a lilac colored resin flower layered with filigree and a swarovski crystal. The rest of the necklace consists of purple twist beads and a brass chain that I added a vintage patina too. Please specify what chain length you like, 14-22 inches. 18 inches is standard.
