One of my favorite summer trends this year is the proliferation of eyelet. Found on everything from bedding to dresses, eyelet always reminds me of grandmothers and days gone by. The vintage detail doesn't always have to be old fashioned as many of our favorite stores and designers have made eyelet new again. I especially love eyelet for the hot summer months because the little holes provide instant ventilation! Like any trend, I never like to spend too much so I found plenty for under $50. Pair the bright yellow Sweet Sunday dress with a straw boater hat for a cheerful look. Or pair the Boho Eyelet Skirt from American Eagle with a simple tank and multiple chain necklaces for a boho meets rock 'n roll style.
