Jaw Dropping Edith Head Jean Harlow Fashion Show Gown VINTAGEOUS VINTAGE CLOTHING
Description
Created by Edith Head for a fashion show to simulate Jean Harlow. To see a photo of Edith Head with the models from the fashion show (not included), please click here. We sold several other pieces from this show years ago (including that wild Joan Woodward costume on the model directly behind Edith Head in the photo) and completely forgot that this one was still boxed and filed. Anyway, the gown is positively stunning... even though it was originally a costume it would make an AMAZING wedding gown. Exquisite body conscious cream chiffon bias gown with a low neck and a scooped back. Floating rear ties and dramatic train. Dress is fully lined in crepe backed silk satin. Bust is HEAVILY padded (pads can be removed). Rear nylon zipper. "Western Costume Co.," label. COA from our original purchase of this gown will be provided stating that this is from the Edith Head Collection. Also included are four long strands of faux pearls that were used with the gown for the show.
