Bird feeder 101-the basics. Recycled, upcycled, traffic signal lens made of thick, beautiful, deep red glass. Stainless steel cable used for hanging. The black clips which hold the cable to the lens are also an up-cycled piece of hardware. The lenses are very dirty when I get them. I clean them well but there may be areas of wear, mineral deposits, very tiny chips or scratches, so there is still a sign of their history. The feeder measures 8 inches across, and with the hanging wire around 15 inches long. A great bird feeder for the urban garden. Also lovely holding candles or tea lights. Can hold water as well for a small bird bath.
