Gump's San Francisco - Vine Basket
Description
Highly skilled artisans hand-plait textured hagnaya and nito vines into a "crazy-weave" pattern to give this large basket its sculptural appeal. It's reinforced with a strong wire frame to hold kindling or magazines. A natural wild vine twists and turns over the top to form the handle, which is firmly affixed with hidden wires. Each is unique. 22 3/4" diam. x 25"H overall. Imported.
