Daily Obsesh - Green Double Bow Keeper Belt

    by Melisa Verrecchia

With shows like Mad Men making a huge impact on fashion, it's no wonder that we are seeing the return of the waistline! For the new Fall 2011 season, there will be plenty of dresses reminiscent of the 1950's - 60's where fitted waists and full circle skirts will most definitely be the silhouette of choice! What better way to accent this feminine asset than a simple slim belt. Topshop's green double bow keeper belt is one of our favorites here at the Hive. In the perfect shade of classic Kelly green, the leather belt features two dainty bow keepers and a antique gold buckle. Wear it with pretty dresses or, for something more casual, pair it with a crisp white shirt and some high-waist jeans. (It also comes in - light tan, orange, aubergine and oxblood versions!)Where to Buy - TopShopPrice - $32.00Who - Melimeli was the first to add the Green Double Bow Keeper Belt to the Hive.

Spring 2011 Green Fashion for St. Patrick's Day

    by Ida Hsiang

Green is the first sure-fire sign of spring - fresh grass, blooming flowers and, of course, St. Patrick's Day.Ranging from peacock to emerald, designers are offering a wide variety in the leafy hue for spring. Michael Kors sent models down the runway in cheerful skirts (to the tune of 'Here Comes The Sun', no less!), and Prada opted for a playful take on green with baroque monkey prints and bold stripes. At more affordable prices, J.Crew created sexy and strappy heels in weathered sage and Cole Haan offers leather accessories that have us green with envy. When wearing green makeup choose one feature to accentuate - go for bold eyes with E.L.F.'s matte eye shadow or dazzling digits with Essie's Pretty Edgy nail polish. Green lipstick is a serious offense, unless you're Ke$ha.Not only will these ultra chic options help you avoid a pinch, they'll also transition well into spring!See more St. Patrick's Day style by clicking over to our friends at Stylelist!
