Frank Gehry: Red Beaver Chair & Ottoman: NOVA68.COM MODERN DESIGN
Description
The 1983 Experimental Edges comprised Gehrys second collection of cardboard furniture. Generously proportioned, they take classic armchairs as their motif. Their pronounced round shapes guarantee nothing if not coziness, their frayed edges are a play on an old piece of furniture that has seen better days, on which time has taken its toll. With Red Beaver Gehry adds a new object, and indeed a new dimension to the Experimental Edges color.
Made of red dyed corrugated cardboard.
