Vintage 1970's Needlepainting pillow top kit Ecru homespun fabric in a rayon and flax mix is printed with orange and black orioles sitting in what appears to be a cherry tree in bloom. Crewel stitches are used to fill in the painted design. A very unique and interesting technique, rather than just filling in an outline, you're covering an area that's already the correct color for the design. Kit contains: Full color screen printed homespun fabric (86% rayon, 14% flax) Unprinted homespun for backing 100% acrylic yarn Cording for edge trim Needle Easy-to-follow stitch chart Crewel Creative Stitchery Kit no. 474B.
