it was a seed pod from my purple coneflowers (echinacea), but i electroformed it into copper, (magic: similar to plating but takes days and days), set it on fire to burn out the seed pod inside of the new metal piece, oxidized it and then set it on top of a tulip poplar stamen i lost wax cast in sterling silver which i had formed into a ring band. phew! thanks for liking it and for more info check out my site at http://lyndaandrews-barry.com.
