"now you are dangerous." - dashiell hammett. vibrant red-orange real cattleya orchid preserved for life in resin (with petals tipped in purple and visible veins running throughout), preserved for life in poly resin and securely wirewrapped to a small black barrette. when i first got these cattleyas i was dreaming up all kinds of crazy embellishments but came to realize the greatest service to their beauty would be to leave them plain. i'll probably end up with one or two embellished ones. let me know if you would like a custom creation. because of the placement of the barrette, these orchids can be worn on either side of the head. mother nature outdid herself with these. orchid measures 3.5"x3.5". barrette is 2". handmade (for a one of a kind lady) by anna bronwyn, pulp tart jewelry.
