    It says 38x54 -- centimeters I assume--- for the measurements which is a lot smaller than shown in the picture. What is that is all about?

    I have this style, or a similar 1930's, 20's antique metal design. I placed 2 in each of my sunroom entrance, doorway to my kitchen & Hallway passageway!!,, It makes your living space gorgeous,it's like an "accessory" but for your house "You know that belt, earrings, necklace, arm/leg warmer, ie..etc that makes the outfit, You can't never wear the outfit with out it, or you could, it would just change the whole look.!! It's Like crown molding, it makes world of differance in a pricey look, it's a cheap add on. This is a nice design element in your home entrance ways. I ordered mine from a catalog o'r Inet. I love the look this is kind of a old style that is kind of getting popular again ... how eva the germans did not come up wit this just now, it has been a round for decades, if you actually look at old houses you will seem them in the design of porches and in the doorways, windows but they were mostly made of wood.     Ugh, I really don't like this...makes me think of blood creeping in on me. I love horror movies, but I wouldn't to have that feeling in any room in my house all the time (except maybe a home theater). Too bad there's no frowny icon I can attach to this.
