The DEP Chair & Stool are named so for winning Thailand's Department of Export Promotion award for Best Design. The seat of the chair is slightly angled backwards to create the perfect posture for relaxing and putting your feet up, preferably on the Stool. The Stool is unique in that it takes the weight off your feet by catching your calves, not your heels, which relieves tension in your feet and improves circulation. Both feature a solid wooden frame and hand-woven water hyacinth. The chair has genuine leather on the back, sides and seat cushion.
