Dalilips Mouth Sofa
Description
History of the mouth-sofa: The mouth as an aesthetic shape is a constantly recurring theme in DALI's pictorial work. In 1936 he painted the picture in which Mae West's face is transformed into a room and in which the sofa lips, later produced by his friend Jean-Michel Frank, were first seen.
All the pieces are engraved with Dali's signature, which Oscar Tusquets decided to colour, as the master himself did in his day.
