CasaSugar says: Greetje van Tiem renews old newspaper by spinning it into yarn. From one deconstructed page of newspaper, she can make 20 yards of yarn. How "Tiem"-consuming! Then, she weaves the yarn into a new form, such as delicate carpets, curtains, and poufs. I'm not sure how exactly it's done, but I'm really curious. If Greetje could bring this technique to the masses (gasp!), it would be quite a useful method of recycling. But, regardless of the eco-factor, her work is elegant, and exquisite, and I'd love to call it my own.
