In Grenada and most of the Caribbean islands, cocoa tea is the most popular drink for breakfast and mid-afternoon. Islanders even say it contributes to their good health. We are happy to introduce this healthy, natural and unprocessed beverage to our customers. The base of the drink is cocoa that is pounded into a paste and mixed with spices like nutmeg, bay leaf, citrus peel, pepper, cinnamon & often clove. The teas pair well with pastries, and can also be grated over hot chocolate as a garnish. Recipe included.
