Classic House Number> - Design Within Reach
Description
To create our own line of House Numbers (2006), we looked to Erik Spiekermann for designs that are distinct, unmistakable and provide a legible, clean aesthetic for a business or home. The House Numbers collection, designed exclusively for DWR, includes four typefaces. Classic numbers are based on Bodoni typeface, designed by Giambattista Bodoni in 1788 and believed by many to be the archetypal type. Embellishments like drop-shaped terminals at the end of stems are the signature of this classic type.
