This fork is hand-carved from poplar wood, and a butterfly design has been carved in relief on one side. The fork is 1.5 inches / 3.8cm wide and the prongs are 5/16 inch / 0.8cm apart. Tung oil has been used to polish this fork to a smooth, slightly glossy finish. This fork can be ordered with a functional length (the length which can be inserted into the hair, ie the length of the middle prong) of 3, 4 or 5 inches.
