Time For Tea - WOOD -
Description
Time for tea is a set of three cups and saucers made from mixed porcelain slip and shaped after the shadow cast by a teacup at different times of the day. They are designed to make the saucer, which in modern tea drinking has often become obsolete, as important as the cup. The three shadows accommodate the different types of food that are often eaten with tea from biscuit to sandwich.
