Marc Jacobs Louis Vuitton Luggage From the Movie Darjeeling Limited - bid to win!
Marc Jacobs and Wes Anderson happen to be friends, and now, collaborators. Anderson's latest film, The Darjeeling Limited, revolves around three brothers' journey through India carrying their dead father's luggage- designed by Jacobs for Louis Vuitton. The monogrammed steamer trunks, duffels, and suitcases play an integral role in the film and were specially designed by Vuitton using aged calfskin, velvet lining, and a jungle pattern created by Anderson's brother, Eric. The brothers (played by Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, and Adrien Brody) also wear Vuitton-designed suits throughout the film. You have the opportunity to own a piece of Darjeeling memorabilia when the luggage is auctioned off, with proceeds going to UNICEF and the Rawal Mallinathji Foundation, a medical treatment charity in India chosen by Anderson-hardly excess baggage. Enter a silent bid at the Louis Vuitton store, One East 57th Street, New York, NY, 212-758-8877. The Darjeeling Limited hits theaters Sept. 29.
