Description

I love salvaging bits of the past and making them wearable again. As most of my past customers know, flapper dresses from the roaring 20's, are my favorite medium. I've taken a section from a gorgeous flapper dress and reworked it into this fabulous glove-style cuff. A hand-pleated, black chiffon ruffle has been added to the bottom hem and the entire piece is lined with 2 layers of sheer black mesh. All of the edges have been turned under and sewn by hand so there are no visible seams or possible damage to the beads. The entire cuff is encrusted with silver glass beads and sparkling rhinestones. It closes spat-style, with adjustable loops and faceted, 6 jet-glass ball buttons. This cuff has been exquisitely finished and hand detailed. You will find no loose threads, tattered edges, or un-finished seams. This piece has been made to last.
