Description

This bangle is made of powder coated brass and kilnformed glass. The glass is created by strategically placing metal that has been coated in a fine metal powder into a mold. The metal and glass react when heated together leaving the intricate honeycomb pattern. The glass looks pretty horrible when it comes out of the kiln, but then it is hand-carved on a diamond lapidary wheel to cut into the surface, revealing a beautiful finish. The glass is nested in a powder coated brass bezel. The glass measures appx. 1 1/8" including the bezel, at it's widest point. The inside diameter of the bangle is appx. 2 1/2".
