Although it looks like a pancake when empty, there is enough room inside for cellular phone, wallet, keys, etc.
It is made of wood (spruce) slats. The extendible gussets and the flap inside are made of very soft brown leather.
It has a brown leather strap - in fact two leather laces tied at regular intervals - that can be shorthen or lengthen by a simple knot or that can be removed or hidden inside the bag.
The colour of the wood stain is called Cappuccino by the manufacturer, a pretty nice colour that is almost a non-colour as it gives a naturel aspect to the wood.
