This swingy, lightweight, cape-style jacket is made from vintage blue plaid wool. It's a very romantic, versatile piece that can be worn several ways. The removable sash neck-tie has a button closure at the back neck so that it remains secure when worn. The sash may be tied around the waist for a cinched fit with a frilly peplum. (photos of this look coming soon) It buttons down the front in a hidden placket and is adorned by vintage buttons at the two front pockets. This jacket makes for a very elegant outerwear piece for cool spring/summer nights. Since they're created from vintage wool, I was only able to make a limited number of these jackets, so once they're gone, they're really, really gone.
